From a psychological point of view, his stay at large is not dangerous. Staying in prison again will already fulfill social protection, but it will not bring anything positive to the situation of the convict, ”the Liberec psychiatrist Jaroslav Tricicki prefaced the conclusions of his assessment.

The District Court of Jablonec nad Nisou has sentenced Jaroslav Bartak three times. The regional court in Usti nad Labem has overturned the decision twice, the last time when it was ordered to prepare a new expert opinion on his mental health.

The released is subject to supervision for a period of seven years during which he must abstain from the use of alcohol and other narcotic substances. “He must be verified as correct. They must document everything for the probation service. He may not commit a misdemeanour or criminal activity, and if he is asked to submit to an examination he must submit to it,” the judge said.

Bartak replied that he had been completely averse to narcotics since his youth.
