How do same day delivery apps work?

Wondering how Getir, Gorillas and similar apps work? They are very similar to grocery delivery apps, only orders are taken from a supermarket or grocery store rather than a restaurant.

Same-day delivery apps will do each job a little differently. But as a general rule, you need to have your groceries in the app and they will be delivered to you as soon as possible.

If the drivers are available, they will quickly pick up the order from the local store or warehouse and make their way to you.

Sometimes, if there are no drivers available when you place your order, you have to wait in a queue. It will add some time to the overall delivery, but it’s still pretty quick.

Aren’t you in too much of a hurry? If you don’t mind waiting a few days for your groceries, check out the cheapest supermarket.
