In a hectic month behind the scenes we have seen twenty-four players either coming, leaving or returning to London Colney during the January transfer window through various stages of the club.

10 of them arrived on the fateful day alone, and if you need a reminder of all the arrivals and departures during the month, we have included everything below;

The first appearance for the men’s team saw Leandro Trossard swam Brighton & Hove Albion for North London. The Belgian international winger made an instant impression, playing a part in our goal-winning debut against Manchester United, and starred against Manchester City in the FA Cup.

He was followed through the door by Jakub Kiwior, fresh from his displays for Poland at the 2022 World Cup. The 22-year-old centre-back – who can also play as a defensive midfielder – arrives from Italian club Spedi after impressing in Serie A over the past 18 months.

We then completed the deadline day signing of Italian international Jorginho from Chelsea. The Mediterranean head enters to provide us with additional options in the middle of the park, and to provide a wealth of experience during his time in Italy and England with a brilliant CV.

In terms of departures, we saw a trio of loan exits on the last day of the window. Cedric Soares has joined Fulham, while Sambi Lokonga finds himself staying in the Premier League with Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile, Marquinhos heads to Norwich City as he aims to gain further experience of the English footy, having made six appearances for us since his summer arrival.

On January 1st, the Dutch player Victoria Pelova was signed. Vivianne Miedema’s compatriot played against us when we met Ajax in the League Cup in September and when he became a Gunner, he already bagged two assists and a goal on his full club debut.

Danish teenager Kathrine Kuhl was eager to join our ranks. The technically gifted midfielder comes from Elitedivisionen side FC Nordsjælland and is capable of many opportunities for the Danish national side. What’s more, Kuhl has already alienated the brand for us, in both domestic cup opening links and producing player in these matches.

Canadian goalkeeper Sabrina D’Angelo was the last winter arrival, coming from Vittsjö GIK from the Damallsvenskan. He made his debut, keeping a clean sheet against Aston Villa in the Continental Tires Cup quarter-final.

Our summer signing from Barcelona, Gio Queiroz, also returned from a loan spell at Everton, and the Brazilian winger made his first appearance for us in the FA Cup against Leeds United.

When he came to leave, we said goodbye to the club legend. After 270 appearances, three WSL titles and four FA Cups, Jordan Nobbes has made a permanent move to Aston Villa, marking the end of an incredible 12-year career in red and white.

Japan international Mana Iwabuchi also left Tottenham Hotspur after two years with us.

After being recalled from his spell at Stoke City, Harry Clarke was the one and only academy player to make a steady transition following his move to Ipswich Town – the club we signed from that youngster.

A few players found new temporary homes in the Championship, with Brooke Norton-Cuffy signing for Coventry City, while Miguel Azeez ended his season at Ibiza and moved to Wigan Athletic, where he joined Omar Rekik on deadline day. But Sala-Eddine Oulad M’hand was recalled from his job at Hull City.

Taylor Foran headed to Hartlepool United to get his first taste of professional football, as did Kido Taylor-Hart and Billy Vigar, who both joined League One side Derby County, and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji at Accrington Stanley.

Also, three goalkeepers headed for pastures new for the rest of the season. Arthur Okonkwo Sturm Graz continues to impress for Crewe Alexandra in Austria, Ovie Ejeheri has joined Chelmsford City for Finnish side SJK Seinajoki, while Tom Smith has also made the move to Premier League football with a move to Leicester City.
