After his return from Qatar, Marcus picked up from where he stayed at Old Trafford past the goalkeepers from Burnley, Nottingham, Forest, Bournemouth, Everton, Charlton Athletic and Manchester City.
Although Rashford’s initial frustration at missing out on a 10-match record is understandable, helping United win trophies this term and putting his record best-ever tally for the campaign well and truly behind him.
Just four short of that particular term, with 18 goals scored in all of the 2022/23 competition so far, 22 in 2019/20. And he could still play another 33 games between now and May 31!
Unfortunately, VAR got the better of me again today. Breaking the record for 3 consecutive goals in OT this season would have been incredible, but I’m proud to have equaled Dennis Viollets’ record #MUFC
