Jakub Kiwior acknowledged that seeing his name on the back of our brand’s red and white shirt was just the “pinnacle” of his life.

Speaking exclusively to Arsenal.com, he said: “When I first saw my name on the Arsenal shirt, I just laughed! I was so happy to see my name on such a huge club shirt. For me, it’s an incredible happy moment and the pinnacle of playing for such a great club.
“I’ve always dreamed of playing in the Premier League. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, and if I got the chance, I knew I’d do it most of all, which was one of my biggest dreams. It’s the best league for me. I’m thrilled to be here.
“It’s a huge deal for me and I can be here. I know that Arsenal is a huge club in the top league, so I don’t think much else. I was just ecstatic and really wanted to come.
“I love passing the ball. I like teams moving the ball and trying to create chances in this way. So, I’m happy that I come to a team like that.”

“I remember when Wojciech Szczesny and Krystian Bielik played here,” he added. “I haven’t had to speak to Wojciech yet – we’ll certainly have a chat when we meet at the international office.
“I received a business from Krystian who immediately congratulated me. It was nice, he told me more to contact him if I had any problems or something like that. I’m really happy for such a positive reaction immediately.”
Jakub was watching in the stands yesterday as we beat Manchester United to stay five points clear at the top of the table and he can’t wait to get out on the consecrated turf to play his part in a great second half of the season. .
“I had the opportunity to be in the stadium for the first time yesterday and support the team from the stands as a fan,” he said. “It was a great experience. I’m really happy the result went in Arsenal’s favor. I hope I’ll taste what the stadium is like from the pitch soon.
